oh wednesday:
im familiar with this funny feeling.
the dr. says its the flu but i say its something else;
more or less.
im not the only one.
& i know you've felt it too.

its just one of those things.
it makes the world go 'round
and most of us
can get lost in it.

so instead of talking about it;
we keep it, hush hush
until we find ourselves again.

that sinking feeling?
thats your dignity.
the emptiness in your gut?
your faith.
you might know where to find me.
static electricity and missing that human contact.
youre my cave and im hiding out this time.
